Fall:

Fall signature experiences at PVD Prep prioritize outdoor community building activities. In the past we have hiked to the highest point in Providence, explored the Caratunk Wildlife Refuge and learned about Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay in partnership with Save the Bay. In the fall, all eighth graders visit local college-preparatory high schools as part of their preparation for the high school admissions process.

Winter:

In the winter, lower school students at PVD Prep enjoy a trip to Boston to visit the Museum of Science, the New England Aquarium and the Boston Freedom Trail. Upper school students select signature experiences from a menu of options that includes glass blowing, sailing lessons, rock climbing, a FabLab, cooking classes, pottery and more!

Spring:

Spring signature experiences are all about FUN and celebrating the hard work of the school year! In the past we have enjoyed celebratory trips to Six Flags, Colt State Park and more.
